CIS - Business Management School

CIS- Business Management School is the training and consultancy company of unindustria Reggio Emilia, the Association of enterpreneurs that represents approximately 900 manufacturing and service enterprises - amounting to 41.000 employees). CIS headquarter is located in Reggio Emilia (Emilia Romagna Region), with a staff of 31 employees. CIS has been confirmed as the key training company of Reggio Emilia industrial system.

CIS was created in 1984, it is accreditated by Emilia Romagna Region for the organisation of training courses with public funding. Some figures: 3.500 Attendants to our courses per year; 25.000  Hours of training per year; 900 Associated  companies;  700  Clients companies; 200  Experts who collaborate with us.

CIS designs, organizes and delivers training actions addressing both young and employed people in order to support the transition to work of young unemployed, adapt the competences of employees to organizational & technological changes, to re-skill or up - skill adults to enter o re- enter the labour market. Cis carries out European funded projects with the aim of:

  • improving the quality of vocational and educational training 
  • anticipating the needs of competences requested by the labour market and supporting the development of internationalization and innovation within companies.

Main role in REFRAME

CIS is responsible for WP2: Preparation and building the European laboratory for regional WBL. The European Laboratory for Regional Work Based Learning is composed of the main stakeholders at regional, national and European level (namely decision makers, learners and their families, teachers and trainers, tutors and mentors and practitioners and professionals working in the mechatronic, electronic and automation sectors).

Veronica Casini

graduated in languages for communication in international enterprises and organizations at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
Coordinator of the following project: mo.VET- Long-term mobility for apprentices - pilot project on Long-term mobility for apprentices. The aim is to enable young apprentices to develop their skills and enhance their employability prospects, strengthening their sense of European citizenship;
HELP – Healthy Lyfestyles for elderly people; the project is address to the seniors workers who want to improve their quality of life and their performances on the workplace.
